However, the Reds were absolutely demolished on Sunday evening in the series rubber match. The ugly defeat led to a second straight series loss for Cincinnati and dropped the season record to 14-20.
After a scheduled off day on Monday, the Reds will remain at Great American Ball Park for a three-game series against the New York Mets. In the middle of April, the Mets rattled off eight wins in nine games to improve to 14-7.
